Christmas has come and gone and our focus is now on 2021.Chuck and I, along with our team, have been busier than beeson a flower farm. The weather has not been cooperatingvery well for us this season.The fields have requireda lot of our attention to making sure our vegetables are taken care of properlyand protected to the best of our ability. The good news is we will be installing 3 new high tunnels soon that will mitigate some of our weather concerns and provide sheltered areas for growing.
Spring planning is also underway. We are reviewing our planting schedule and are looking forward to many more beautiful harvests.

Our first cauliflower is ready. Due to the weather, we only have small heads available at a reduced price. Hopefully, we will have larger heads as the crop progresses.
There have been many improvements that may go unnoticed but,as the saying goes, “A good lather is half the shave”. Infrastructure such as drainage, irrigation, and land clearing continues, as we utilize more and more of our ten acres. Our barn has been transformed into a functional facility where we will process our harvests and prepare for packaging and delivery. The horse stalls have been removed, and we are now transitioning those areas into workspaces and storage.
